Hush Local Content Moderation Policy

1. Purpose
This Policy explains how Hush Local reviews, classifies, restricts, removes, and preserves content.
2. Moderation States
Content and accounts may be marked as:
- Active
- Under Review
- Quarantined
- Reported
- Removed
- User Deleted
- Admin Deleted
- Retained for Safety
- Legal Hold
3. Review Methods
We may use:
- user reports;
- automated detection tools;
- manual moderator review;
- administrator review;
- safety escalations;
- legal review.
4. Quarantine
Content may be temporarily hidden from public view while under review.
5. Removal
We may remove content for suspected policy violations, illegal content, safety concerns, technical issues, or legal compliance.
6. Preservation
We may preserve content, metadata, logs, and related records where needed for safety, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
7. Appeals
Where available, users may request a review of moderation decisions. We may uphold, modify, or reverse a decision at our discretion, subject to law and safety concerns.
8. Escalation
Suspected CSAM, trafficking, threats, or other serious crimes may be escalated internally and, where appropriate, to law enforcement.
