1. Location Use
Hush Local uses location information to power local discovery, distance calculations, map display, approximate public placement, and virtual-travel features.
2. Precise Location
When enabled, your browser may provide precise location information to the service. We use this data internally and do not display your exact GPS coordinates to ordinary users.
3. Approximate Public Marker
Visible users may be shown with an approximate public map marker rather than an exact location. The purpose is to reduce the risk of revealing a home address, exact building, or route history.
4. Recent Activity
If your session becomes inactive, your marker may remain visible for a short period as “active moments ago” or similar wording before being removed.
5. Virtual Travel
Paid subscribers may use location-browsing or virtual-travel features to appear in a selected destination. This feature is labeled as visiting, traveling, or exploring and does not mean verified physical presence.
6. Consent
By using the service and enabling location access, you consent to this collection and use of location data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms.
