Hush Local Guest Session Disclosure

1. Guest Use

Hush Local allows temporary guest sessions. While active, a guest receives the same ordinary free-tier map, profile, filtering, messaging, blocking, reporting, and basic media functionality as a free registered account. A guest session is not a permanent account and cannot use Premium features.

2. What Guest Sessions May Store

A guest session may store a temporary server-issued identifier, profile and preferences, messages, blocks, reports, approximate map presence, permitted free-tier images, moderation data, and security logs needed to operate the service and enforce policy. Exact GPS coordinates are processed privately and are not publicly displayed.

3. Deletion and Expiration

When a guest disconnects or logs out, the marker becomes Recently active for up to five minutes. Reconnecting during that period reclaims the same guest identity, profile, and marker. If the guest does not reconnect, the public marker and usable temporary account are removed. Content connected to reports, moderation, abuse prevention, legal holds, backups, or lawful requests may be retained or anonymized for only as long as the applicable purpose requires.

4. Visibility

Guests are visible by default after a valid recent location is received. Public positions are approximate. A guest is labelled Live only while recent activity is being received and Recently active during the reconnection period. Registered profiles may remain visible and are labelled Offline after logout.

5. Free-Tier Parity and Premium Limits

Guests receive ordinary free-tier functionality but cannot access Premium entitlements, including Invisible Mode, Visit Here, unrestricted discovery, additional paid photo allowances, premium albums, or locked album sharing. Creating a free account makes the profile persistent; it does not reduce free-tier access.
