Hush Local Community Guidelines

1. Purpose

These Community Guidelines help keep Hush Local safe, lawful, and functional for adults using a location-based social networking service.

2. Adult-Only Community

Hush Local is for adults only. If you are under 18, you may not use the service.

3. General Conduct

Users should:

• communicate respectfully;

• avoid harassment, stalking, threats, and abuse;

• respect consent and boundaries;

• use accurate profile information to the extent they choose to share it;

• report suspicious, abusive, or illegal activity.

4. Prohibited Behavior

The following behavior is prohibited:

• harassment or hate speech;

• threats, extortion, blackmail, or coercion;

• stalking or persistent unwanted contact;

• impersonation;

• doxxing or disclosure of private information;

• spam or fraudulent behavior;

• attempts to solicit or facilitate unlawful sexual services;

• trafficking, grooming, or exploitation;

• use of minors in any context;

• non-consensual intimate imagery;

• unlawful recording or distribution of private content;

• malware, phishing, or account abuse.

5. Consent and Safety

Users must respect consent in all interactions. Do not assume consent from silence, prior contact, or profile content.

6. Messages and Media

Private messages and media must comply with these Guidelines, the Terms of Service, and all related policies. The platform may review messages and media for safety and enforcement purposes.

7. Reports and Enforcement

We may investigate reports, remove content, restrict features, suspend users, or refer matters to law enforcement where appropriate.

Not signed in, unable to access your account, or unable to use the in-app report button? Contact support@hushlocal.com. Include the relevant profile name or URL, approximate date and time, and a brief description. Do not send passwords, full payment details, or unnecessary intimate media.

8. Advice for Users

Use caution when meeting people offline. Hush Local does not verify every identity, statement, or offline situation.
